i was browsing through my old blog when i came across my review on this beautiful movie and to be honest, it was awfully done and hopefully this one would be better!
this movie was definitely worth my time. soon after it was released, "a were wolf boy" quickly rose up at the box office charts, earning the title of the most successful korean melodrama of all times!
if you want to cry your heart out, this movie is perfect for you. i really love how mostly throughout the movie, the colour of it was really plain and simple. it gave that sort of vintage feeling and fits into the atmosphere perfectly. both main leads also performed well and i'm extremely proud of joongki. from his first ever drama, he made so much improvement. in this movie, joongki is acting as a werewolf. obviously, werewolves are uneducated and they do not understand or know how to communicate with us humans. thus, joongki has so little lines. for a "new" actor, i believe, it is really challenging to express what you want to say your eyes. and imagine how pressurizing it is when you're the main lead. kudos to you, joongki. //respect. anyway, if you are wondering how exactly is this movie beautiful, watch it! not going to be a mean person and give you spoilers, aha. but its beautiful, really.
if you're someone who is crazy about fantasy dramas and perfect pretty korean boys, this is for you!
i have to admit, i was a pretty crazy joongki fan in the past. well, i still am but i'm more interested in k-pop hahaha.
9/10; really loved the cast. boyoung and joongki fits this movie perfectly and with brilliant acting skills especially joongki, there are many mixed emotions expected! a beautiful storyline, understandable and not confusing. love the ending.
